I am an intensively trained DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) therapist specializing in Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, and Emotion Dysregulation. I work with individuals, couples and families struggling with self-harm and self-destructive behaviors themselves or with a loved one. My ideal client is someone who is willing to make the changes that is necessary in order to build a life that is meaningful. I am also licensed in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Missouri, New York, Oregon and Virginia.
Through comprehensive DBT, I teach clients more adaptive skills to effectively experience and express emotions, tolerate distress, improve interpersonal functioning and increase awareness to be able to participate in life. I have years of experience working with Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety Disorders and Emotional Dsyregulation.
I lead a DBT Consultation team and am a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Interns. I have developed great relationships with other professionals in the area making treatment for my clients a collaborative one.
