I am a graduate of Tulane University’s School of Social Work, a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor for the Commonwealth of Virginia and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I obtained my clinical license in 2015 and have been an Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner since 2022. My expertise is in treating medical trauma, grief and post-traumatic stress related to events surrounding disease, medical care or medical emergencies. My approach is tailored specifically for each client.
My treatment orientation is trauma-informed, person-oriented, and strengths based. My particular interest is trauma-related disorders and chronic illness. I use EMDR, IFS, ACT and DBT as a way to maximize healing.
I focus on the mind-body connection and spend time educating my clients on the various types of treatment that I offer so that each client can make an informed decision.
