About
PsychFlex Unlimited is all about helping you to create flexibility in your thoughts, emotional experience, and relationships. My beliefs and how I approach life is that life is short and precious. As a result, I work toward helping you find what you love, pursue those things with vigor, and minimize those things that impinge on living well. We spend much of our lives moving AWAY from suffering. We try to avoid things that make us anxious, missing out on much that life has to offer. We recoil from “unpleasant” feelings, deadening ourselves to the range (positive and negative) of our emotional experience.
We make micro choices every single day that are about a movement “away” from something unpleasant or uncomfortable, often without considering the long term ramifications of those choices. Worse, we spend almost NO time moving “towards” those things that bring us joy or fulfillment.
I specialize in supporting your resilience to shame ("not enoughness"), self-criticism, pressure to perform and be perfect, social and performance anxiety, inner compassion, body image and eating concerns, identity, and self-transitions in life and with sport. Let's work together to help you move TOWARD meaning in your life. What do YOU wish to move toward?
