My early personal experience with grief and loss allowed me to see the benefits of creative arts therapy firsthand. I specifically pursued this specialized training because I wanted to be able to help people that didn’t have the words to express themselves or didn’t have the comfort and confidence to share the words and feelings they have inside. I take an individualized approach, and will utilize verbal therapy, Art Therapy, or a combination of the two. People often tell me they feel calm and relaxed in my presence, and I see myself as a guide to helping individuals gain better understanding of who they are and where to go next.
Trained in Gottman Method Levels 1 & 2, affairs, and substance use, EFT Externship, and Sandtray Therapy. I support individuals and couples through grief, relationship issues, and emotional expression using talk therapy, creative arts, and nonverbal approaches to create a calm, healing space.
