Seeking therapy can sometimes feel daunting. My goal is to help guide and support you though whatever life stressors you may be experiencing in an open, caring, non-judgmental environment. I describe my approach as collaborative, authentic, and relational, and strive to prioritize cultivating a strong therapeutic relationship with clients.

I utilize an integrative approach with clients with the goal of helping you find a state of wellness and healing. I think that sometimes therapy can focus too much on one's struggles, so instead, I love finding balance and working from a strengths-based perspective with each of my clients to highlight their areas of strength and resilience as well.

I hope to work as a team as we explore whatever may be troubling you, whether it be a current stressor, or something from your past that continues to cause distress. Overall, I want to help you achieve a state of well-being that allows you to live to your full potential. If this approach sounds like a good fit, please reach out. I would love to hear from you

Sexual Trauma Survivor's Group

This is a long-term, open process group for female survivors of sexual trauma that incorporates some skill building, grounding techniques and body-centered interventions when appropriate. Participants can expect to 1) Discuss their experiences with other women who understand 2) Hear other women's stories 3) Explore how the trauma continues to impact their present-day life (friendships, romantic relationships, sex, work, etc) 4) Learn ways to better cope with traumatic symptoms. My associates, Dr. Gehr and Dr. Yung, runs this group. Please email admin@ciracenter.org if you are interested in joining.

Building Resilience Skills Group

The group helps clients better understand how traumatic experiences can impact their body, emotions, and relationships, to become more aware of and comfortable with all emotions, identify current coping skills that are leading to unhealthy results, and begin building adaptive coping skills for distressing feelings. Importantly, clients will be encouraged to talk about how their traumatic experience(s) have impacted them but not discuss the details of the traumas themselves. If you are interested, please write to admin@ciracenter.org
