Through compassion, I meet clients where they are in their lives. I spend time getting to know my clients and their own hopes for themselves. Therapy works best when clients feel connected to the therapist and are hopeful about the goals we set together. I help clients feel positive about their lives and future, work with them to accept our humanness, and offer ways to communicate their stories, even if not with words. I hold space for clients who are adults and teens trying to love the skin they are in, parents trying to understand their kids, those with new or long-term grief, and young adults figuring out the future.
I work with clients from many perspectives, with my foundation in psychodynamic therapy. This means the most important part of our sessions is that you feel safe, supported, and connected. I incorporate art, EMDR, skill building, and validation into the work.
As someone who has experienced both sides of the therapy room, I understand sometimes we just need space- to feel, to think, to cry, to laugh. Please contact me to see if we may be a good fit for you and your wellness.
