I have extensive experience in helping people with understanding, articulating and resolving difficult emotions. I value compassion and empathy. Together we set goals and work towards these goals in our sessions as clients learn to cope with and resolve issues that have been blocking them for periods of time in their lives. The sessions will be opportunities to contemplate and reflect; at times we will also use tools like breathing, pausing, visualizing and tapping through attachment focused EMDR techniques to resolve more deeply engrained and troubling issues which may be harder to get to through language alone.
I think you will find me to be someone compassionate with whom you can talk. I can provide insight and connection as well as strategies and techniques for managing difficult emotions.
