Trying to find a therapist in this oversaturated market is challenging, to say the least. Therapy should be personalized to each individual client's strengths and challenges. With that in mind, I believe in taking a collaborative approach. Whether adjusting to current life stressors or coping with past trauma, I seek to empower individuals, new parents, couples, and families to change negative communication and behaviors and build on existing strengths.

I specialize in issues related to past trauma, self esteem, multigenerational family conflict, life transitions including marriage and coparenting, and mood disorders including generalized anxiety and depression. I enjoy helping couples establish goals and increase connectedness regardless of what stage they are in or their current level of high conflict.

There is a particular emphasis in my practice on parenthood, and the impact of infertility, pregnancy loss, and perinatal/postpartum mood disorders on individuals and couples. New parenthood is exciting and rewarding, but it can also be overwhelming and isolating. I work on identifying and addressing both postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety.
