Hello! I am Rachel, an individual and family therapist and licensed independent clinical social worker. I work with teens and adults, offering both individual and family therapy. I specialize in working with clients who have anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, autism, and depression. I also support clients experiencing phobias, OCD, grief/loss, and trauma. I partner with clients seeking to strengthen their stress/coping skills, relationships, communication skills, boundaries/self-care, and esteem/self-acceptance. I welcome LGBTQ+ identifying clients. I have taught meditation for 30 years, for those who would like to learn in-session.
I utilize an eclectic therapeutic approach, to tailor sessions to each client's specific personal and psychological needs. Modalities include Narrative, Dialectical Behavioral, and Solution-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness techniques. I have advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through Harborview Center for Sexual Assault and Traumatic Stress.
