I believe that therapy is an ongoing conversation spread out over a period of time where I, as your therapist, get to know you and try to understand what is creating difficulty in your life. My job is to help create a nonjudgmental and comforting relationship where we can begin to understand you - together. I genuinely care about those I work with, and I believe this curious and compassionate approach is ultimately what makes therapy worthwhile. By understanding you and your challenges, we can help you take steps to truly improve your life.

I work with those who have had a long-standing problem with depression or personality issues, and where other treatments have not helped. I offer psychological evaluations and psychotherapy to truly understand you. I practice from a primarily psychodynamic perspective and believe insight into the self provides the greatest benefit for symptom reduction.
If we can understand the "why" for problems, we can improve the symptoms. Asking for help can be overwhelming, and speaking with a stranger about your struggles can be difficult. However, we were never meant to suffer alone, and I invite you to reach out for help. Every person is unique, everybody deserves therapy that is tailored to their individual needs.
