Many of us seek out therapy when we're in the midst of change, or when we've reached a point of wanting change but are unsure how to make that happen. In either case, therapy offers us the opportunity to deepen our understanding of the circumstances which have brought about the desire, or the need, for something to be different. In collaborating with someone whose role is to reflect our experience back to us, we're often able to meet parts of our selves or our histories that had been forgotten, and we start to see how embodying ourselves more fully will create movement and fulfillment in our lives.
As a psychodynamic, relational therapist, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable exploring the aspects of yourself that might be harder to reach. I view relationships through an attachment lens, observing how your formative experiences might be impacting your present, and empowering you to identify patterns that might be holding you back.
