I am passionate about supporting individuals, couples and adult families in their quest for clarity and healing. I work quickly and deeply so clients feel positive change at the outset of counseling. We will work together to identify and achieve key counseling goals to transform your life and relationships. I strive to bring a warm and open atmosphere that encourages compassion and collaboration. Areas of expertise include healthy communication skills to manage anger and decrease conflict, rebuilding broken trust, infidelity and "betrayal trauma" recovery, cultivating healthy romantic relationships and managing parenting challenges.
I have expertise around relationship stress due to conflicting communication and attachment style differences, infidelity, separation/divorce and adult family strife. I am trained in multiple evidence-based modalities including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), RLT (Terry Real's model), IFIO (IFS for couples), PACT (attachment), and the Gottman method.
I became a counselor because I deeply value helping others. Having experienced my own varied bumps along the way, I am acutely aware of how challenging life can be. I also believe that change and growth are always possible. Engaging in counseling is a powerful path toward health. All are welcome: LGTBQ clients, nontraditional couples and adult families.
