There are times in life when it feels like we just can’t catch a break. Maybe it’s relationships that fall apart, or constant crises, or prior traumas or experiences that come up in our daily lives. Chaos and emotional instability can make getting through the day feel impossible, but you do not have to go through it alone. Being overwhelmed and feeling broken doesn’t have to be your normal. Your mind and body are capable of healing, sometimes they just need a push. My goal is to help clients learn what is keeping them from fully experiencing peace and then build the tools to stop living in constant survival mode.

I utilize EMDR as well as an eclectic blend of other styles and techniques like mindfulness, ego state interventions, and narrative work. Once trust is built, we may work on skills you can use to emotionally regulate or start processing your past and how it is impacting your present. Trauma does influence our lives but we can stop it from having control.

It is my top priority for every client who steps into my office to know they belong, are valued, and get to be heard. My approach is laid back and personal, and I want you to feel comfortable and safe while doing something that may not always feel like it.
