Hello and welcome! My name is Rachel, and as a therapist, I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space grounded in trust where you can work through whatever may be holding you back from living the life you hope for and find the healing you’re looking for.
I work with adults navigating CPTSD and the impacts of childhood trauma, including emotional neglect, attachment wounds, sexual trauma, religious trauma, dissociation and dissociative disorders. I work with adults who grew up in families with substance abuse or mental illness and those who are struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, and addictions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), and I provide outpatient counseling at Forsyth Family Counseling. I offer attachment oriented therapy, Somatic and Attachment Focused (SAFE) EMDR and IFS (parts work) as well as somatic therapy and DBT. I am LGBTQ+ celebratory and committed to trauma-informed and anti-racist practice.
I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) and I often use mindfulness, breathwork and gentle movement tools as well as other somatic tools to better support my clients.
