Hi, I'm Rachel, a licensed clinical social worker offering telehealth therapy in Oregon and Washington. If you're here, you're on a journey. Maybe it is to address something specific, maybe it is just to feel better, feel more comfortable in your skin. I view therapy as an opportunity for me to support you in navigating the many obstacles and barriers that life throws at us. I believe in your unbounded potential to heal and would be honored to support you in this. I specialize in working with individuals living with chronic illness, depression, anxiety, addiction, psychosis and dealing with impacts from trauma.
I approach therapy first and foremost from a strengths based and relational perspective and strongly believe in the healing power of connection. I draw from a variety of theories and modalities including internal family systems, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and narrative therapy.
Research has shown that quality of relationship with your therapist is the single greatest indicator of how effective it will be. With this in mind, I offer free 15 minute phone consultations so that we can see if we align. If I'm not the right fit, I will do my best to support you in finding someone who is.
