People who seek me out are those who want to engage in therapy with someone who not only listens and empathizes but they are searching for a therapist who believes that conversation and interaction are integral to the therapeutic process. With your permission, I will ask you questions and offer interpretations. With compassion and understanding, my goal is to help you rediscover your strengths and inner resources. Compassion and curiosity are guiding principles that I encourage clients to use when looking inward. Silencing that inner critic takes practice but the result can lead to amazing transformation.

Many of my clients may be suffering from depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I frequently work with people who are trying to process loss whether that be a break-up/ divorce, a job loss, or trying to process the loss of their idealized self. Life frequently looks different than imagined.

Finding a therapist can be difficult and I encourage clients to make sure they find someone who is a good fit. Please visit my website and set up a consultation either over the phone or in person to see if we are a match.

Solo But Not Alone: Women Struggling with Divorce

Ending a marriage can be one of the most painful and confusing times in your life. You are trying to cope with loss - loss of the past, the present, and the future - and that grief can be both overwhelming and exhausting. And, although every divorce is different, and every person's process is their own, you may find that sitting with other women who are suffering the same loss can be tremendously healing. This journey is not always easy but through group and the support of others, you will find your footing.

More about this group

Healing Together - Support Group for Children

Healing Together is a support group for children in middle school who are going through, or have gone through, parental divorce. Separation is difficult for the adults and extremely challenging for the kids. Many times kids are left feeling alone and isolated in their experience and they need support coping with this transition. In group kids will; realize they are not alone, understand that parent's divorcing is not their fault, gain skills and tools to deal with the loss and grief, feel safe to express feelings, and have the opportunity to share, participate, and learn from their peers.
