As a counselor, I believe that each person was created with inherent value, individual experiences, and a deep history that forms who they are and who they are becoming. After time to reflect and process, meaning and purpose can be found in the most difficult circumstances. People often have the answers they are seeking within themselves, they just need a place to process through the possibilities. Watching people discover their capabilities is one of my greatest joys! I love being able to work with people to strengthen self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-compassion, & coping skills.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds a master’s degree in counseling. With a background in education, I have spent my career working with children, teens, & adults to help them understand how their emotions, behaviors, beliefs, & experiences impact their daily life. I practice using Person-Centered, TF-CBT, CBT, ACT, & I am trained in EMDR.
