People often say (and studies show) the most healing aspect of therapy is feeling heard and understood by the therapist. I work with adults and teens seeking support, clarity, calm, and insight navigating the stresses, fears, and uncertainty of life. In sessions clients often say they feel understood and more clear about how to proceed. My intent is to provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space for you to process what is going right and what areas you need to change or see things differently in your life. I have over a decade of experience as a Psychotherapist working with clients from 13 years old through adults 75+.
All experiences can be valuable and help you grow more caring and loving rather than anxious, resentful or depressed. In therapy sessions we delve into the meaning and growth opportunity embedded in your life experiences. As your therapist I offer support and guidance amidst anger, confusion, separation, and pain. I work with adults, teens, and parents.
I offer a free phone consultation so we can meet and see if therapy with me is a good fit for you. My approach is insight oriented, nonjudgmental, gentle, and accepting. Sessions include talk therapy, mindfulness and/or meditation. A core aspect of therapy that I provide is authenticity and attunement to your needs.
