Rachel empowers individuals to find strength in themselves and gain control of their narratives. Clients often seek therapy when everything feels out of control and emotions are at their most intense. Rachel uses therapy to examine clients? own unique stories, identify underlying strengths, gain insight, and increase self-compassion. Since 2013, Rachel has provided outpatient psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and seniors.
By using a variety of integrative therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Insight-Oriented Therapy, Rachel collaborates with clients to connect the present reality to past experiences. Rachel has significant experience helping individuals manage symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Recognizing how trauma impacts not only our brains, but our bodies, helps initiate healing from within. Rachel has additional experience treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, grief/loss, relational conflict, and stress management.
