My therapeutic style is grounded in helping people understand how their patterns formed, and why they tend to repeat patterns even when they’re no longer helpful. I believe insight is not just awareness, but a skill that can be taught, practiced, and strengthened. I am deeply passionate about teaching. Much of my work focuses on psychoeducation: helping clients make sense of their internal experiences in clear, practical ways so change feels attainable rather than overwhelming. When people understand the “why” behind their reactions, they gain more choice in how they respond.

Throughout my career, I have been drawn to understanding patterns of violent and harmful interpersonal behavior. This interest led me to extensive experience working with individuals convicted of sex offenses. That continues to inform my work through a strong emphasis on pattern recognition, nervous system regulation, and long-term behavior change.
At Wild Inside Counseling, I work collaboratively, with curiosity and respect for each person’s internal landscape. Therapy is not about fixing what is broken, but about understanding what was shaped—and learning how to grow something different.
