Relationship issues are the worst. I love working with couples struggling with conflict resolution, recovering from an affair or rediscovering their connection, among other relationship issues. When we are unhappy in our romantic relationships, it impacts all areas of our lives including our work, mental and physical health, as well as our parenting. Single folks-trying to juggle it all? It's exhausting trying to excel at work, in your finances, hobbies. Self-care can feel impossible. I can help build more skills to handle that stress as well as needed compassion for yourself when those big emotions hit.

For couples I use the Gottman method, which excels at building strong friendships, improving your sex life. With over 40 years of research, their conflict management skills help a couple see significant change quickly. With individuals, I primarily use ACT which focuses on accepting of our thoughts/feelings while learning skills to move toward our values.

Your connection with your therapist is the most important factor in therapy. Do you feel safe and open to talking about the real issues? Is she giving you the feedback you need? Give me a call so we can test that chemistry to ensure I'm a good fit. I have a warm but direct approach. It's my job to gently nudge when needed.
