About
Currently accepting new virtual clients - - We live in a society with harmful belief systems about our identities (i.e. gender, sexual orientation, race, etc.). These belief systems can impact our mental well-being, and lead to feelings of shame, emptiness, hopelessness, addiction, as well as nervous system dysregulation. I empower those I work with to step into healing by building resilience to shame, strengthening and regulating the nervous system, and creating a space for authenticity.
I have a special interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, BDSM community, and/or those who are non-monogamous. I am an identity affirmative and sex-positive therapist. Clinical interests and specialties include: couples counseling; trauma recovery; neurodiversity; chronic illness; inner child/attachment work; sex therapy; women's issues.
My counseling is holistic and trauma-sensitive, incorporating a mind/body/spirituality approach. I utilize a variety of models and evidence-based practices to assist clients, including Somatic Experiencing, Feminist Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MSBR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Shame Resiliency Theory.
