My treatment approach is practical, solution-focused, and strength based, and incorporates cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy (CBT/DBT), supportive and dynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness practice, play therapy, and behavior management techniques to promote emotional health and well being.

I take an active role in guiding treatment and believe that the foundation of therapy is finding someone you can open up to and feel supported by. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where we work together to reduce distress and develop plans that will create positive changes.

Postpartum Anxiety (Virtual) Support Group

The Postpartum Anxiety Support Group is a weekly facilitated support group and informational resource for mothers of newborns and infants. Groups provide support around managing the myriad challenges of pregnancy and new motherhood, with an emphasis of managing anxiety symptoms. Other postpartum topics and struggles may include the emotional and physical toll of motherhood, difficulties with boundary setting and self-care, feelings of disconnect with partners, and "mom guilt" around meeting the overwhelming demands of your tiny person.
