I specialize in treating trauma, grief&loss, and anxiety. Unresolved trauma can create invisible emotional wounds. The deep emotional scarring of these wounds can negatively impact both personal and professional lives. Early trauma is often at the root of mental illness, including depression and anxiety. I specialize in providing trauma focused therapy solutions. In my office, you will find a safe space where you can express yourself and move toward your desired goals in a healthy and healing way. Our relationship will be built on the four pillars of healing: trust, safety, support and hope.
Together we will explore your goals and create a roadmap for progress using trauma-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). With youth, I use music, art, and play therapy as part of the therapeutic process.
Healing is possible and my goal is to holistically support each client. It's our unique pasts that make us who we are. While we cannot change past traumas, we can change how those past experiences live within us. In working together, you can find the courage and the empowerment needed to heal.
