Sometimes it may feel like the darkness threatens to overwhelm you. Counseling offers an opportunity to be seen and supported safely in hard places. I’ve learned from my clients, community, and personal experiences that even in these dark shadows, slivers of light can shine in. Beautiful things can grow there, too.
My counseling approach incorporates trauma-informed & attachment-based theories. I earned a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Additionally, I have completed advanced certifications in EMDR, Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI), Gottman Level 1 Certification, Prepare/Enrich Certification, and Symbis Certification.
It’s okay if it is too much to hold alone. We are made for connection and relationships. It is a privilege to hear your story and hold it with you.
