My experience encompasses in-depth mental health services for clients experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, family and parenting issues, suicidality, stress, low-self esteem, divorce, and other concerns. The goal of therapy is to partner with the client in addressing and processing through mental health issues. Productive mental health care does not look the same for everyone, and so my goal as a therapist is to utilize a flexible approach to therapeutic orientation and intervention.
My speciality is treatment of trauma. Clients are guided through the process of emotional healing via talk therapy and other interventions. I believe counseling is most effective when a client takes what they learn in therapy and applies it to everyday life. My goal is to help you become independent again rather than dependent upon therapy.
