Hello! My name is Rachel Gren and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My approach to therapy is person-centered. My focus is to fully understand your experience, interactions, and interpretations to lead us to uncover opportunities for healing and resolve. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, in addition to using an eclectic approach to treating symptoms stemming from Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Loss, and other sources of emotional distress.
My client focus is treating individuals with anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. I also enjoy working with couples who are experiencing marital conflict and stressors. I approach goal setting with clients at the first session. I really want to know upfront how my client envisions the issue being resolved.
My goal is to create a safe, warm environment in which clients feel free to share their experiences. I practice unconditional positive regard in my therapy sessions as I want my clients to feel supported at the very beginning and throughout the healing experience.
