About
If you have the desire or goal of wanting to feel more in control, secure, and at ease in your life, I have a passion for helping you get there. I know it is not simple, nor should it ever have to be done alone. It can be difficult, and sometimes disheartening, to even start the process to find a therapist, so when we meet, it is really important to me that we ensure you have just as much of a role and input in our work together as I do so that we can collaborate and make our time together feel productive and the right fit for you. I do specialize in working with medical professionals, specifically physicians and medical trainees.
I am direct, authentic, trustworthy, collaborative, and non-judgmental and I use these qualities to support you in overcoming challenges that may have brought you to therapy in the first place. My goal is to help you increase self-awareness, build insight, and guide you to finding useful tools to improve your functioning in life.
I understand and believe in the importance of having someone, especially a professional, that you can turn to for unbiased and authentic support. I want my clients to truly learn and internalize skills that they need to manage their lives independently - so they feel confident in themselves and don't have to rely on a therapist forever.
