If you feel held back by memories of traumatic events, or that your anxiety is keeping you stuck, there is hope. I help my clients develop tools to heal from trauma, communicate more effectively in their relationships, clarify their needs and goals, unlearn old unhelpful beliefs about themselves and get unstuck from painful patterns that are holding them back. I'll move at your pace, while also challenging you to grow. I work especially well with individuals who are curious to understand themselves and others, and who naturally think about connections and patterns in their lives.
My therapeutic approach is integrative. I work primarily from a psychodynamic lens, and am internal family systems-informed. I am anti-racist, harm reductionist, sex-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and use a Health at Every Size framework. I share what I think with honesty and humility.
We can create space for possibility, acceptance, and change by building insight and understanding into your past and present experiences.
