Psychodynamic therapy in Park Slope specializing in creatives, parents, couples and families. Many of us are struggling with alienation and a loss of purpose and belonging. You may experience existential dread, deep loneliness from hiding yourself, resentment, physical aches and pains, substance use or perfectionism. I work with individual adults and couples, and specialize in improving authenticity, self-worth, and integrity.

As a psychodynamic therapist, I'll listen closely to understand your background first and then move to unpacking patterns. My practice integrates of how the sociopolitical world impacts mental health. My clients often come to therapy during big life transitions, like new parenthood, illness, or divorce, when your old patterns are not working anymore.

I value patient feedback as part of the process and believe it is the essence of the work. Honesty in the therapeutic relationship can help you practice honesty in other parts of your life.
