I am a Relationship Therapist, who is trained in the Gottman Method. I approach therapy from social justice, womanist, and healing-centered approach. I guide partners on a healing journey of how to engage in mature and respectful conflict. I will equip them with the skills to turn towards each other and deepen their level of intimacy. I also work with individuals and families to improve their relationships. My intention is to normalize and increase relationship therapy access to POC and QPOC.
I specialize in helping clients: develop positive and mature relationships with peers and partners, find healing after trauma(s), utilize effective communication skills, navigate sexuality and gender identity concerns, and have a sex-positive attitude - all while expressing their whole selves in resistance to hate, oppression, and discrimination.
I work collaboratively with clients, to assist them in improving their quality of life. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship. This relationship begins by creating a safe space, listening to understand, and helping to strengthen self-efficacy. I believe that you are your best resource. I look forward to this journey with you.
