I think deep down we all want spaces where we can be totally real. Where we can say whatever we think or feel and not be judged for it. When we don't have these spaces, we learn to hide in order to protect ourselves. We don't say what we actually think or feel for so long that sometimes we stop knowing ourselves or feeling known by others. We get stuck in patterns that we don't want, but don't know how to get out of. If you're sick of feeling stuck, therapy is a great place to start. Once we make space to know ourselves, change can actually happen.
I practice from a trauma-informed, relational approach with an emphasis on attachment, internal parts work, and neurobiology. I practice a little bit differently with each client depending on what they need. I care deeply about having open communication between the two of us so that we can collaborate on what works for you. I welcome feedback!
I became a therapist because I just love people. I want everyone to get to live their best life and I love helping people figure out how to do that. It's vulnerable to talk to a stranger about your most private thoughts and feelings. And I know it's worth it, because therapy changed my life. It could change yours too!
