My goal as a therapist is to make every client feel safe, accepted, and confident that they can navigate their hardships in a healthy way. My approach is non-judgmental, open, and affirming. I strive to meet my clients where they’re at on their journey toward mental wellness no matter the severity of what they may be going through. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and am committed to authenticity, building strong rapport with clients, and tailoring my approach to each individual client’s needs. I have extensive professional experience working in behavioral health in inpatient facilities,
namely with clients suffering from substance abuse, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. I also have experience working with clients suffering from homelessness and diagnoses such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, and various personality disorders. I am particularly passionate about trauma work and utilizing Eye Movement
Desensitization snd Reprocessing (EMDR), in which I am certified. I operate through a person-centered lens and often include CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), solution-focused, psychodynamic, and IFS (Internal Family Systems) interventions in session as well. I look forward to working with you!
