In client-centered Music Therapy, the client informs the interaction. Music Therapy works to address what we want to change by combining speech, movement, and body based interventions. This method of treatment works to quickly address the reflexive parts of the brain (where our survival instincts and fight or flight responses live). As a therapist, I'm there to provide support, expertise, and guidance! This type of therapeutic interaction can be especially accessible if talking about an event or identifying something specific is challenging.

I approach each person and family inclusively, regardless of circumstance. With an eclectic Music Therapy approach informed by DBT, CBT, TF-CBT, mindfulness, sand play, and Theraplay; sessions are created to provide the support you are seeking. My session approach is entirely client-centered. Questions and curiosities are always welcome!
A strong relationship is at the foundation of all therapeutic interactions. I value having a comfortable space where you feel safe asking tough questions, laughing, trying something new, or being yourself for the first time all day! My goal is for all to feel supported navigating life experiences and growth in ways that feel genuine.
