Hi, I'm so glad you're here! Think of me as a supportive collaborator on your journey. As a queer therapist trained in affirmative therapy, my goal is to partner with you to understand your experience through the context of your unique, intersecting identities. I have a particular interest in working with LGBTQ+ couples, relationships, and individuals wishing to navigate difficult life transitions, identity, workplace stress, family of origin trauma, and the impact of each on our mental health. I also have extensive experience working with adolescents and welcome older teens (16+) in my practice.
In therapy, we’ll work to understand and explore the unconscious motivations for your actions. I will also help contextualize internal conflict by looking at the unique parts of your identity that define you. Finally, I ensure that our work together is grounded in understanding the systemic and cultural contexts in which we exist.
Finding the right therapist can feel like a full-time job—I’m here to help! I have weekday afternoon and evening openings available with a few remaining morning sessions open (current as of 9/30). Email me to schedule a free, 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
