Hi, I'm glad you found my page. I hope you give yourself a lot of credit for taking this first step, and I'd feel honored to support your in your mental health journey. I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over ten years experience helping children, teens, adults, couples and families improve their mental health and wellbeing. Drawing from my training in solution-focused therapy at UNC Wilmington, I will collaborate with you to identify and build on your strengths-even those you may not realize you have- to achieve your goals. I've also worked with clients adjusting to life changes or just feeling "stuck" in their lives.
Utilizing my training in EMDR therapy, I have supported clients in overcoming significant trauma so that those past experiences aren't continually relived and trapped in the present. I've worked with individuals of all different backgrounds with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, and addiction, and I've been witnessed amazing change and progress.
My therapy space is compassionate, supportive, and non-judgmental, creating a safe environment for healing and growth. Currently I do not have a wait list for new clients.
