Hello! Searching for a therapist is daunting, isn’t it? Phew. Congratulations on the decision to find a therapist to walk with you through one of the more difficult parts of being a human. I feel honored to be considered. I work with humans who have experienced trauma and/or nervous system dysregulation and are looking for relief. It’s entirely possible to feel relief, and have a life that feels more easeful. I am lucky to be able to work with humans who are searching for their healing and am amazed by our innate capacity for wholeness and authenticity. Reaching out can be a terrifying; I’m so proud of you for starting your journey.

I primarily use Somatic Experiencing(SE), and co-regulatory touch, which are modalities that help the physiology of the nervous system (fight/fight/freeze) return to more regulated state, especially as it relates to complex or developmental trauma. I also am lucky to spend time assisting SE trainings and helping SE students integrate the training material.

This is similar to other therapy modalities in that we explore your needs, goals, and hopes together, though we also incorporate the body into the experience.
