My approach to therapy is relational. I create a safe environment of collaboration with clients to work toward eliminating unhealthy obstacles to achieving their goals. These behaviors and beliefs are aftereffects of traumas in their pasts. I promote healing by witnessing the client's story and providing feedback including strengths, progress and the causes of clients' pain. I see therapy as an opportunity to experience new ways of relating and coping while developing and appreciation of who they are.
Additional techniques I use as indicated are: cognitive exercises, hypnosis, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and sand tray therapy.
I teach coping techniques and help clients problem solve life situations, finding alternative healthy behaviors to replace unhealthy ones. I help them to evaluate their ways of thinking and provide feedback in constructive ways.
My office is near the Jenkintown train station and Old York Road. I am in a solo practice with no other therapists or support staff. When appropriate and helpful in addition to therapy, I refer to and collaborate with other professionals such as a nutritionist, psychiatrist or physician.

Group Therapy- Survivors of Sexual Abuse starting
Starting an ongoing group for SURVIVORS BECOMING THRIVERS. Interpersonal group where safety allows group members to follow their healing journey with the support of fellow members and an experienced group leader. Each group allows for everyone to check in and for two or more members to work in more depth on whatever they choose: past issues or present. Group is the best forum for reducing shame resulting from sexual abuse. Improve relationships, learn coping skills. Free individual screening session to ensure it is the appropriate setting for each group member individually and together. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
