About
My overall focus is on helping women be well--physically, emotionally, spiritually, socially. My areas of focus include: trauma, depression, anxiety, work-life balance, grief, self-esteem, and relationship issues. I gravitate towards Cognitive Behavioral and Humanistic therapies in my clinical work. I primarily serve clients individually; however, I am experienced in offering couple's and group therapy. I am passionate about working with those experiencing PTSD and helping improve their quality of life. In addition to seeing clients I provide supervision for ND and MN counselors seeking their LPCCs.
I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). I have certification and experience in providing telehealth since 2011. I enjoy working with clients where they are at, whether that be in office, or remote through their computer.
We want to provide an oasis where women can focus on health and wellness in a way that makes it convenient and accessible. If that's the kind of space you are needing, please reach out.

Rachel Blumhardt's Groups
Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD
This is a 12 week group utilizing Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). CPT looks at the impact a traumatic event has had on one's life and helps examine and change unhelpful thoughts and feelings related to the event, one's self, others, and the world. CPT is evidence based and effective in treating PTSD across a variety of populations and types of trauma. This group provides you the skills to deal with your trauma and reduces feelings of anxiety, anger, guilt and shame. Specific details of each person's trauma are not discussed .
