Hi! I'm Rachel. I primarily work with adolescents and adults individually and within family therapy to tackle generalized anxiety, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, low self-esteem, identity challenges, and family conflict with the aim of building resilience and empowerment.
Procrastinating, replaying past events, avoiding opportunities or selling out on a dream, needing continual reassurance from loved ones, dissociating, and overworking are some of the many ways anxiety shows up and runs the show.
We might be a good fit if you experience ongoing overwhelm or confusion and want to reclaim inner peace.
If a client is open to them, I like to incorporate various modalities – creative arts, psychodrama, experiential, sensory play, and sand tray among others.
I have previously worked with individuals ages 2 to 85 and from many backgrounds.
You are the expert on you! Therefore, we will discuss goals and approach together throughout the healing process.
I believe in a holistic, strengths-based approach that allows me to meet you where you are and hold space on the path to where you want to be – prioritizing your goals at your pace using your innate gifts. Healing can be hard work, so I also strive to incorporate moments of humor and fun.
