About
Welcome to my practice! I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Washington DC. I provide confidential individual, group and couples therapy to adult and adolescent clients. I have experience working with a diverse clientele and welcome individuals from all racial and ethnic backgrounds. In my practice, I work as a generalist and treat individuals and couples on a wide variety of presenting issues and concerns, including relationship concerns, depression, anxiety, life and role transitions, and grief/loss.
I was trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and believe that our past influences our current experiences. Through ongoing therapy, I help individuals gain insight into patterns of behaviors, feelings and thoughts. I have specialized advanced training in couples and group psychotherapy, as well as clinical expertise in chronic medical health, LGBTQ, and college mental health.
I aim to foster a warm, nurturing environment in order to create a safe space for thoughtful introspection. Together, we will work to better understand your concerns and how your earlier experiences affect your current problem. It is through this deepened insight that you will achieve more flexibility in your approach to life's challenges.
