My approach to therapy is gentle but direct. I work to support but also push and challenge my clients. I want you to know I care but I also want to make sure you have what you need to work on whatever brings you to therapy. Therapy works best if you find a therapist who you can trust so I work to be authentic and transparent. Unfortunately, I am not currently accepting any clients due to my work as a professor at UVU. However, I feel strongly about trying to help people find a good fit for a therapist so if you need assistance in that process please feel free to reach out. I'm happy to help connect you with possible referrals.
When I am accepting clients, I work with individuals on topics such as depression, anxiety, or trauma & other struggles such as faith transitions and grief. I also work with couples issues such as communication, intimacy & parenting. I have worked extensively with secret sexual behaviors, such as porn use and infidelity & the associated betrayal trauma.
