Rachel offers a trauma-informed approach to create a safe, compassionate and strength-based space to work towards healing. She specializes in Somatic Therapy and Trauma-Centered Psychotherapy integrating EMDR, CBT, and Strength-Based approaches. Rachel is an LCSW and has over a decade of experience. She has worked as a mental health crisis responder and advocate, animal assisted therapist, and outpatient therapist for an inner city mental health clinic. She spent 4 years as the program director for a local non profit developing trauma informed programs that foster self sufficiency.
Rachel also served 2 AmeriCorps positions where she received extensive training on trauma to provide services to victims of violence.
