It can be challenging and scary to find a therapist that is a good fit. Whether you are experiencing increased anxiety, or challenges within relationships, everyone has unique life events that bring them to seek out a therapist. It is such a courageous thing to attempt to find someone who feels trustworthy and safe that you can entrust with the burdens of your life. So I am already so proud of you for searching and my desire is to create a space where you feel safe enough to share the wounds in your life so that your story is heard.
My priority is to validate and help make sense of the hurt that you have experienced, not to magically erase the pain in your life. I use a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing your background and past relationships and how it influences your current relational dynamics. I work with individual adults and couples.
If you are experiencing anxiety, depression, feeling stuck, or recovering from people-pleasing or co-dependent relationships, I would love to collaborate with you towards healing and wholeness. I enjoy working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, and seek to support mental health equity. Book a consultation call or intake appt. through my website.

I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, relationship issues or recovering from codependent relationships. First time meeting, we will make sure it is a good fit. Together we will set goals for treatment, and the clients will set the pace of treatment. Most of my clients who meet weekly or biweekly see an improvement after a month or two, with sustained improvement thereafter.

Emotionally Focused and attachment-based are the treatment types I use. In individual or couple sessions this will involve exploring past relationship patterns to determine how those patterns are impacting current relationships. Then new skills will be presented for you to navigate within those patterns including, emotion regulation, communication skills, and boundary setting.
