As a therapist, I work well with individuals and families who are curious about themselves, our work together, and the possibilities for a healthier future. Clients often find that I am a warm, patient, curious, humorous, kind, and supportive person on their journey toward self-improvement. I am passionate about my work with clients who are LGBTQ* and I love working with gender expansive youth and adults.

Because each client is different, with different needs and values, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, with a emphasis on Feminist Interrelational Theory. You bring strength and resiliency into therapy, and it is my goal to help all of my clients recognize their own power and strengths, through collaborative exploration.

I believe that therapy is only as good as the relationship between a client and therapist. Thus, it is my goal to get to know every client on a deeper level in order to foster a solid, healthy, therapeutic relationship that can provide opportunities to learn, be challenged, and grow.

Early on in therapy I like to create a Genogram, to explore interpersonal dynamics, intergenerational histories, and family "rules" about the world around us. This helps us explore how to do relationships w/ others and the world differently, in an empowered position.
