I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have over 20 years of experience helping others improve the quality of their lives through my work in mental health and social services. I focus on the patient's desired goal and utilize the most appropriate modality. I prefer to use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I also have experience utilizing Exposure Therapy to support patients with PTSD and Anxiety/OCD.
I enjoy working with patients who are motivated to improve the quality of their lives. I have experience working with all ages, cultures, religions, political beliefs, and sexual orientations. I welcome all individuals without judgment. I have experience helping patients with PTSD, Anxiety/OCD, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Psychosis.
Clients should expect that I will spend time getting to know them and their motivation for seeking therapy. I will usually end the session by providing the patient with some skills to help them through their week and something to work on in their free time.
