I provide counseling for individuals aged 15 and older coping with depression, anxiety, addictions, life changes, trauma, neurodivergence, chronic illness, and suicidal ideation. I have a special interest in the LGBTQIA+ community, healthcare workers and first responders. I will meet you where you are in a safe, affirming space.
I incorporate approaches including DBT, CBT, IFS, somatic approaches, polyvagal theory and mindfulness through a trauma-informed, multicultural lens individualized for a client's unique needs. I am trained in Brainspotting Phase 1.
This is a favorite quote of mine, “Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.” -Fred Rogers
