I consider it a privilege to help people process their experiences, empathize with them in their pain, work to improve their relationships and help them make positive changes. I am a generalist in training (worked with couples, adolescents and adults), but specialized in Emotion Focused Couples therapy, EMDR (evidenced based trauma therapy), Christian psychology and cross cultural workers (missionaries, pastors, and missionary kids/adults). I personally love more depth oriented, emotion-focused work, but I will help you decide what approach works best for you!
Having grown up overseas, I am part of the Third Culture Kid tribe. I have worked extensively with people in cross-cultural ministry. I am trained in Emotion-focused Couple's therapy (completed core skills and working towards certification). I am also trained in EMDR for trauma.
