I am a trauma informed licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania and I specialize in treating trauma related disorders. I hold certifications as a certified clinical trauma professional level 2 (CCTP-II), certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor (CAADC), an EMDRIA-Certified Therapist, and a Women's Mental Health Specialist. Other challenges that I support include grief, anxiety, relationship/attachment concerns, life transitions, perinatal concerns, and struggles with self-esteem/identity. I'm a passionate ally to LGBTQ+ individuals, the BIPOC community, women, and others who are impacted by systemic oppression.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I also incorporate expressive arts and sensorimotor techniques into the therapy process when appropriate.
I believe that treatment is a collaborative process and I work to focus on the unique strengths and needs of each individual. Because I tailor treatment to my clients, my approach is highly individualized and I pull from various modalities during sessions.
