I believe the therapeutic process is about co-creating a safe and supportive space to explore what is happening beneath the surface and to develop embodied compassion along the way. My intention is to show up with curiosity, kindness, and presence to help you become more spacious with yourself and your internal experiences. My orientation is a body-based (somatic) and mindfulness-centered approach. Together, we pay attention to the body’s signals, rhythms, and wisdom. I bring an understanding of the nervous system and how it shapes our sense of safety, trust, control, and connection. I work from an anti-oppression framework.

We may use movement, breath, grounding, and mindfulness practices to reconnect with your body, calm your system, and expand your capacity to meet life’s challenges. In addition to Somatics, I have training in Internal Family Systems and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I frequently work with folks who are neurodivergent, have experienced trauma or both.

It is hard to be human, and it can be challenging to recognize when you need some extra support. We all need that at times. My greatest commitment is to supporting you in cultivating self-compassion and self-energy, so that you can navigate life’s ups and downs with greater ease, curiosity, and care for yourself.
